Trinity River Boat Tours +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Relax on the water and cruise leisurely on one of Waterborne Education Center’s Trinity River Boat Tours at Texas Gatorfest. Aboard the WEC vessels Smith Point and Moss Bluff festival guest can soak in the sunshine and the history of the river while catching a glimpse of inhabitants of the Trinity River’s diverse ecosystem. These boat trips offer the opportunity to catch a glimpse of the wildlife and possibly spot a gator in his natural habitat.

Each trip lasts about 45 minutes. Cost is $10 per person. Children 5 and under ride free.

The Upper Texas Coast Waterborne Education Center is a nonprofit agency located in Anahuac, which provides hands-on education field labs in the water. The WEC serves groups from 5th graders to senior citizens and covers topics on ecology, water quality and history of the area.
