There were more than 20 teams entered in the 2010 Cookoff! You could get smoked gator, smoked shrimp, pork ribs, dirty rice, oysters, desert and much more. This year’s 2011 Cookoff is expected to draw even more Texas BBQers as they cook their way into the winner’s circle.

Friday, September 9
  • 8 am to 4 pm – BBQ Teams Set Up
  • 4 pm – Drive In Gate to BBQ locked
  • 7:30 pm - Desserts Judged
  • 8:30 pm - Oysters Judged
  • 9:30 pm - Rice Judged
  • 12:30 am – Gates Locked
Saturday, September 10
  • 8am to 10 am - Drive In Gate to BBQ open
  • 10 am – Drive In Gate to BBQ locked
  • 11 am - Chicken Judged
  • Noon – Gates open to public & DJ on BBQ Stage
  • 12:30 pm - Ribs Judged
  • 2 pm - Alligator Judged
  • 3:30 pm - Brisket Judged
  • 4:30 pm - Washer Tournament
  • 5:30 pm – Horseshoes Tournament
  • 6 pm - BBQ Awards Ceremony
